Why is the tea called Duck Shit Oolong?
Duck Shit Oolong is the English translation of Ya Shi Xiang, a traditional name used for this style of Phoenix Dan Cong oolong. Despite the name, it contains no duck ingredients.

Do I need special teaware?
No. A mug, teapot, or basket infuser is enough to begin. A gaiwan or small teapot is useful for short gongfu-style infusions, but it is optional.
How many times can I steep the leaves?
It depends on the tea, leaf amount, and brewing style. With short infusions, many Chinese teas can be steeped several times. Keep going while the tea still tastes good, extending the steep gradually.
